Tedesco Will Be Training Back East & More

6/1/2004

Recapped By: Carl Hein

Rider:                125cc West Coast Supercross Champion Ivan Tedesco

Location:            San Bernardino, CA

Track:               Glen Helen

In his quest for perfection Pro Circuit’s Chevy Trucks Kawasaki Ivan Tedesco was still testing bikes to ensure he has every advantage possible when it comes to racing the outdoor nationals.  While at Glen Helen, last Thursday I chatted with 125cc West Coast Supercross champion.

VRM:

So, I imagine your phone has been ringing off the hook.

Ivan:

Well, for a while it was but then with my results at Hangtown things have been slowing down.

VRM:

Well that let’s me catch up with you.  So what went down at Hangtown?

Ivan:

Moto 1 I ended up sixth which wasn’t too bad but moto 2 I ended up on the ground and I couldn’t finish the race as my bike was really tweak.

VRM:

What happened?

Ivan:

Beginning of the race Bubba and I were really close and I moved my bike over thinking we might collide and I went down.

VRM:

What’s up today?

Ivan:

Just some more bike testing

VRM:

Man, you take no prisoners during practice as you jumped over me, splashed me and in a few seconds were out of sight.

Ivan:

(Smiles and Laughs).  Sorry about that….

VRM:

Mt. Morris this weekend, thoughts?

Ivan:

Ready to ride east coast.  Getting some things worked out and hopefully we’ll be ready to roll.

VRM:

What’s after Mt. Morris?

Ivan:

I have a motor home out there and we’ll be riding east coast tracks for a while.

VRM:

Any place in particular?

Ivan:

Well, Brock’s and some other places.

VRM:

Good Luck in PA and the rest of the season.

Ivan:

Thanks
