Ivan Tedesco Plans on Returning to the MX Scene at Millville, MN
6/30/2006
June 28, 2006 (Newport Beach, CA) After surgery four weeks ago
to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder suffered in a crash at the Vegas
Supercross, Ivan is back on his bike. If all goes according to plan he should
be ready to rock out the rest of the Outdoor Nationals starting at Millville
August 13th.
For three weeks following his surgery Ivan got some much needed R&R back in
Texas with his family and then started an intense two-weeks of physical
therapy. Already Ivan’s been given the go ahead by docs to get back on his bike
and renew practicing, way ahead of schedule. As long as his shoulder stays
healthy we can expect him back on the track soon.
“I want to thank Makita Suzuki, Thor, Parts Unlimited, Monster, DVS and the
rest of my sponsors for sticking by me while I’ve been out. They’ve been
awesome.”, said Ivan. “And I definitely want to thank my fans too. I’ll
be back soon! In fact, I’m going to try to make it up to Red Bud and the
Moto GP in California, so look for me in the crowds!”
“We’re all just really stoked to see Ivan back in the game again”, said Bobby
Nichols of the Sports Syndicate. “We weren’t sure if he would be able to race
in the Outdoor Nationals at all, so this is great news. Being his first
year in the 250 class, I know he’s excited to ride with his teammate RC. We’d
love to see them on the podium together, for sure!”
The next few weeks will see Ivan practicing with the Makita Suzuki team and
taking care of his injury so he’s ready to run up front in Millville.
