Round 13 – Amp’d In the Supercross class,
Tedesco had a great heat race, getting the holeshot in the eight-lap qualifier
and finishing second. In the 20-lap main, however, he had a few problems but
charged hard on his Makita Suzuki RM-Z450 and still managed to reel in
competitors. “This weekend’s practice was
the best I’ve felt all year,” said Tedesco. “The Makita Suzuki RM-Z450
felt comfortable and everything seemed to come to me pretty well. In my
heat race, I struggled a little but still ended up in second and I felt like I
rode well. We made a few adjustments to the bike for the main event,
which I felt was going to be the ticket for what I needed. I got a decent
start, but on the first lap, I got connected with another rider and went
down. Then I caught up and was coming through the pack, and two guys had
come together on the finish line and one of their bikes flipped over and hit me
on the hand and knocked me down, but luckily I’m all right. It was just
one of those nights.” Team Makita Suzuki Racing will
take a two-week break and then return for round 14 of the Amp’d Mobile AMA
Supercross Series at Qwest Stadium in
