Much like Washougal, where
Tedesco finished 7th, he had to mount a feverous charge from 32nd place after the first
lap in the first moto to finish 11th to open Millville. With his back against the wall Tedesco stepped
up in the second moto and reeled off a smokin’ race, enjoying a great battle
early in the race with Grant Langston and coming up just short of the podium
(three seconds) – but 20 seconds ahead of factory Honda’s Andrew Short. “Coming back like that in the
first moto motivated me for the second moto,” said Tedesco. “Our goal now it to
put two motos together and get this Makita/Suzuki up on the podium.” Next up for Monster Energy’s
Ivan Tedesco and the Makita/Suzuki team is Round Ten of the 2007 AMA Toyota
Motocross Championships at Steel City (Delmont, Pa.), Aug. 26th. |
